Spaces management startup Freeware Spaces is rebranding into Wellspaces Group as the company expand beyond co-working spaces.
Freeware Spaces was launched in 2012 with Freeware Labs Antasari in 2012 offering startups co-working space to work for free backed up by energy company Medco. Since then the startup has opened more co-working spaces across Jakarta and even expand the business to co-living residentials.
“We see a great opportunity of spaces in Jakarta alone with low to no occupancy to be altered into a revenue stream. We’ve created a new set of brands, which gives people a different choice. Unstuffy spaces, where people feel comfortable to be productive, and just get on with the genuine connection among our hosts and members,” says Wellspaces CMO and Co-founder Fritz Aradhana Dylan Prabawa in a statement.
Under Wellspaces Group the company now has eight brands and concept: Workwell (co-working and serviced offices), Dwell (co-living houses), Wellkitchen (co-kitchen & food market), Wellsociety (members id and loyalty rewards), Welldefense (martial arts club), Wellhouse (co-residences), Movewell (active communities house), and Wellconnected (gathering & events; mobile app).
Aryo Ariotedjo, CEO and Co-founder of Wellspaces adds that the company will open at least 10 more locations across Jakarta this year.
