Hublot’s Big Bang MP-11 Red Magic is as striking as it could be in presenting the Swiss luxury watchmaker’s Art of Fusion. It easily attracts attention thanks to its bright red, fully polished high-tech ceramic case and bezel - symbolizing passion, power, endeavour and glory. Creating a contrast to the red bezel are 6 H-shaped black-plated titanium screws, with Hublot’s signature black-lined structured rubber strap, and a large fluted crown manually wind the watch.
The material of the case is beyond exclusive. In 2018, Hublot created the first-ever brightly coloured high-tech ceramic, entirely developed and produced in-house by Maison’s R&D department and Metallurgy & Materials laboratory. At that time, watchmakers had been using only black and white ceramics, but Hublot was able to find the right balance between temperature and pressure to maintain the red pigments. It is protected by three patents to cover for the material and machining processes.
The aesthetic look of Big Bang MP-11 Red Magic is completed with the unparalleled performance of its self-manufactured movement, which can be admired through the transparent dial. The HUB9011 calibre offers a 14-day power reserve via seven series-coupled barrels.
Hublot introduced the Big Bang MP-11 Red Magic at the LVMH Watch Week in Dubai in January 2020. Limited to only 100 pieces, the Red Magic is a new addition to the MP-11 lineup - following 3D carbon, king gold 3D carbon, sapphire, and green SAXEM.
