Recently the Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan opened a high-tech optical retail called Opulent Optic Collection. Displayed at the hotel’s Gift Shop, the collection is equipped with a machine featuring Virtual Try-On technology and Style recommendation from VisionHub, an optical retail solution from Paris. Opulent Optic Collection provides selections of premium eyewear brands from French-based optic company EssilorLuxottica. To name a few are Prada, Valentino, Bvlgari, Michael Kors and Giorgio Armani. Guests can try the glasses and sunglasses using VisionHub’s machine that will display a visualization of the eyewear on the guest’s face through an interactive LCD screen.
“Entering the digital era, we are always excited to make our hotel the first hotel that puts forwards a digitalized and enhanced experience to our guests. Therefore, together with VisionHub, our management has agreed to do the collaboration in providing a unique experience to our guests,” says Adeza Hamzah, the hotel’s Cluster Director Marketing.
After the guest places an order, the hotel team will contact Optik Seis, which is a partner of EssilorLuxottica, to deliver the order. Guest will receive the eyewear within 24-hours if the order is placed between Monday through Friday. The Gift Shop, which is also the place for Business Center, is open from 7AM to 9PM daily.
